Your words surround me and take me to another place
I am swimming in your cynicism, sinking in your sarcasm
Your passion cradles me
while your fear encompasses me
Please speak again so that I may breathe in your hate

Tripping over your wit

I am blind to the premonitions in my head
Something is brewing in the town pit
No one can see the horrors of the mind
but we'll soon see who suffers the most
Those who stand among you stand the proudest
The damned speak louder when you silence them
Throw them out to dry so your sins wash away

The rat scampers off while
